We made it

Despite the heat and with A LOT of help, we made it into the new house. And what a mess it is! Here's Paul hard at work to get our TV working & Ryan making a new friend with a very friendly neighbor kitty named Jake. Jake is so docile, he even let Ryan lay his head down on him.

Happy 11 month birthday Ryan! One more month and you'll hit the big ONE! We love you!

I didn't think I would be posting until after the
move. I should be packing and taking full advantage of Ryan being down for a nap, however I could not resist my urge to sit, take a breather & enjoy the peace. Perfect time to post some pictures from last weekends excellent BBQ. Ryan got the chance to play with another boy, named Evan, who's just 3 weeks older than him. Watching them interact was so much fun. They were perfect playmates, especially when they made there way to a pop up tent. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. They rolled in it, crawled in, crawled out and seemed to have wonderful time. Enjoy the pictures!

In 72 hours. . .

We'll have the keys to our new home. We signed today! The sellers already signed their side of things. So, it's done! It's been a long process and I give a lot of kudos to Paul who did a lot of the work. Now the fun begins. . . boxes, boxes, boxes! Thanks to everyone who listened to me fret through this entire endeavor. Hugs!

Paul and I were sorting through a variety of junk that needs to find a different home before we move and we look up to see Ryan on the first step on his way upward. He climbed the entire flight of stairs, about 10 of them without help - but with a Paul safety shield behind him.

Regarding our new house: Closing is set for June 20th & we will take possession that day as well. I will get the carpets cleaned and have a good thorough cleaning done on the house in days following and our move in should be June 28 & 29! Fingers are still crossed that it all goes smoothly.

Weekend trip to Eastern Washington
