Christmas 2013

A whirlwind of a holiday.  Christmas 2013 flew by and was lots of fun.
There is nothing quite like spending the holidays with a 6 year old and 4 year old.
At my office Christmas party, aboard the Argosy Cruise lines.  Very cool venue for a party!
Kathryn's preschool Christmas performance.  She was an angel and had a speaking part.  She rocked it! I promise she is in that picture somewhere!
Thank you Papa & Grandma Soon for making the drive to come see it!
Outtake from our holiday photo session
The annual baking day - successful yet again
In the midst of decorating.  Snoopy is always a big hit and I have to remind the kids not to pummel him.
 Gingerbread decorating tradition: complete!
Awwww. . . this makes me smile.  There were Cheetos in the box. When Kerri opened them Ryan jumped up and down and squealed - he was so happy to give those.

Grandma Kathie and grand kids.
LOVE these cousin photo's. These are the best looking kids in the world!
Some of the nicest too!
 The poodles!
Christmas morning was my favorite. I have fond memories of stockings when I was growing up and am loving the continuation of that tradition.
Kathryn's favorite gift this year was a play tea set, Barbies and a bunch of stuff for her to use in her hair.

 A kitty for Christmas?

 Poodle photo bomb
So so SO excited to receive a BAG full of hot wheels.  He told everyone it was his favorite gift. He asked Santa for a box full of hot wheels, but said it was ok that it actually came in a bag.
A huge Christmas regret: I got no photo's of our Christmas with Paul's side of the family. We celebrated with them on Christmas day, for Christmas dinner.  Cousins - Ruby, now 11 - nearly 12 is growing up so fast!  Kimberly now 7, is great friends with Ryan and Kathryn. We don't get to see them nearly enough.

Ok 2014 - let's see what you have to offer!

Thanksgiving 2013
A mellow evening with family and a few friends.
Lots of changes ahead for 2 of the 3 Lewis girls and that was quietly evident as we celebrated.
Spending time with my family = happiness.

The fun & games before the big meal
He's got some paper airplane flying skills!
Helping their Grandad celebrate his 71st birthday - also that day
It was all a little too much in the end for this little one.

"All About Me" (Ryan)

For the next few weeks at Ryan's Kindergarten this bulletin board will be up. The teacher focuses on one student at a time.  Some of the things on there:
I like to play baseball
When I grow up I want to be a Police Man &/or Paleontologist (he has told me he wants to be both at the same time).
Favorite food: Fried rice
Favorite book:  Magic School Bus.

I absolutely love that the teacher does this!
This was a trip to Carkeek to try and spy some salmon swimming upstream.

Salmon finding success!

October Fun

 Pumpkin carving
Was supposed to be a picture of Ryan and his Dad - nice little photo bomb there Kathryn!

 My fierce Spider-Man!
He tells me as we are Halloween costume shopping:
"Mom, I want to be Spider-Man, but any Super Hero is ok, just not Wonder Woman".
Hahaha!  Love this kid!

School Time!

Yea!  School started!  First up though is a few pictures of the kids annual check up. I have certainly been blessed with healthy children.  Thanks once again Aunt Korrynee for being their nurse.  Kathryn got 2 shots and barely flinched.

 Back to school photo's
I made her mad just before I took this one.  Classic Kathryn.  : )
 There's that smile.

When asked what his favorite part was?  Recess!
