Moving in to Spring

The one and only snow day this year.  Spent a few hours sledding with neighborhood friends.  No pictures of  Ryan : (  Phone was acting funny this day

Then Valentine's Day rolled in.  No pictures of the kids, but I have an amazingly talented co-worker - Drei who can draw anything.  She made these hearts for the kids, and daily a new one would show up on their bedroom door, from "Cupid"

Kathryn opened the school talent show this year, by singing the National Anthem with her good friend Lexi.  So proud of her for being brave and getting out there! 💕

Little League season 2017.

Ryan's on a great team, with great kids. 

Easter.  Again, no pictures of the kids with their Easter baskets, but more art from Drei.  The kids came home Easter evening and found this on the door.

Lastly the jog-a-thon.

Big event each year.  Both kids had a goal of 26 laps.

Kathryn was the 3rd highest pledge earner and Ryan the 4th, out of 118 students.  Much in part to my generous co-workers!

And to tie this post up.......

The two little people that are nestled deeply in my heart.  These past few months have brought on tremendous change,  uncertainty, need for flexibility and for me, a sense of empowerment and strength.  They struggled, I struggled and I am betting their Dad had a hard time with it all too.   Starting a new chapter in our lives.  Learning to live as a family in separate residences.  Co-parenting the best way we can.  These two deserve a strong foundation and to feel safe, loved and supported every day of their young lives. 

That's my goal Ryan and Kathryn.    💗💛
