No one was more ready for preschool to start than Ryan.
Got to the school, wanted to get him settled. Within seconds of walking in the door I hear, "Mom, can I go play?!" And off he went. I shuffled paperwork, put away his emergency supply kit, his extra clothes kit and took note that I forgot to bring the extra pair of gym shoes he is required to keep there. Whoops.
I darn near dragged him back to his cubbie for a picture, hug and kiss and off he went again.
When I picked him up (a mere 2.5 hours later) I asked how it went.
"It was GOOD Mom."
Well alright then. Makes me smile inside and out to see him so excited.
The little Miss and I went shopping for above mentioned pair of gym shoes and enjoyed a treat at Starbucks. Here's to a year of new adventures and some good times with just Mommy and daughter.
