Actually April and May happenings.
- Bi-annual trip to the dentist - successful. Kathryn was not too fond of lying down to get her teeth checked and held onto the table as if she was going to fall.
- Family hike - totally fun and a tad stressful. Little toddler/preschooler feet close to the edge of a trail made for some anxious moments. More for me, than them.
- Ryan and Paul's first fishing trip where Ryan had his own fishing pole. No luck this time, but I know there will be many more opportunities.
- Mother's Day run with Korryn, Kelsey & Michael, called The Color Run. A wonderfully color filled time and will most definitely do again!
- Both kids got sick early May. Both needed to see the doctor to help it get resolved. Kathryn was first. She awoke one Saturday morning "purring" aka respiratory stridor. Totally viral, but needed one dose of a steroid to bring the inflammation down to help her breath better. Ryan was next, 2 days later diagnosed with a perforated ear drum/ear infection/upper respiratory infection. There were a few sleepless nights in the midst of that, bring back newborn baby memories of fatigue. The whole thing has me EXTREMELY thankful the kids are so healthy.
- Ryan is all set for preschool in the fall. Monday, Tuesday Wednesday 9 to noon. He is beyond excited and I share his excitement. He is totally ready and I think will soak up every minute of it. I am looking forward to my time with Kathryn, girl time.
