2nd annual trip to Jim Creek Campground

Such a treat to spend the weekend away with our friends at this campground.   It's hardly camping - we stay in cabins with a kitchen, bathroom and beds.  Loft space for the kids.
This year it rained.  A LOT.
But, Kathryn got in some climbing time - although not as far up the tower as last year.
Wet climbing tower = slippery climbing
She did the giant swing this year as well.
Ryan opted out of both.
Newly added this year was a giant jumping pillow.  Also difficult, due to the rain.  When all the kids were jumping, way too much sliding around and crashing in to each other.  We went back when no one else was there and I let them jump away.

Small transformation....... new plants, new life

With the help of a professional gardener, my space has become new and greener. My goal was for warmth and lush.
It's new and exciting to see what is to come.
This is the before picture, after the paver stones were pulled out.  The picture after is the new plants, in the same area.
It's not my favorite place yet, but it's got lots of potential.

The front walkway.
  This I LOVE.
Lots of color, climbing plants, and greenery.
A clematis and poppy.

My backyard....
Dwarf apple tree grafted with Fuji, Gala and Honeycrisp apples!
Two different types of blueberry bushes
 Some ferns, climbing honeysuckle
 The back corner.
I can see this area from my kitchen window.
Can't wait to see the plants grow and fill the area!
The tarp is covering the sandbox.  : )   ðŸ˜‰
