Ryan turns 16!
Kathryn turns 14!

Ryan's Little League team won the championship in their division.
Moved them on to the State Championship in their division.
They played hard and came in 3rd place.

Another annual trip to Jim Creek Navy Campground complete. Ongoing since 2017.
Most of the kids are now entering high school which changes the dynamics a bit - just because they're all teenagers!
I took no photos. Put my phone down upon arrival and picked it up again when leaving. It was nice to be unplugged. The first picture is Kathryn being hoisted up to the super high swing. Once they get to the top they release a rope and it slings them through the air for a few minutes.
The 2nd photo is a not so high quality group photo.
🏖 Seaside 🏖
This year Kelsey joined for the duration. It was a great trip. Always familiar and always different with the kids getting older, their interests change. The days of building sand castles are coming to an end. But jumping waves is still a must & I think I have officially aged out of tolerating the tilt-a-whirl. My body says nope. 🤣

Painted rock beach. My aunt told us about this gem.
Haystack rock in Cannon Beach. Two days after the beach was closed due to a cougar sighting on the rock. Reportedly got stuck there at high tide and then left sometime the night before we visited. Lots of really cool low tide, tide pools. Sea stars, anemones, little fish. Fun excursion.

This is the first year since 2011 I forgot to get a picture of Ryan and Kathryn standing on the Promendade looking out at the ocean. Ughhh, broke my heart.
