First Seahawks game and the start of 2018-19 school year

Korryn and Wayne were generous to share their pre-season Seahawks tickets with us.  It was the kids first game ever.  They are fun, loud and crowded.  It was intensely hot that day!  Both kids were super in to the game.
He was sitting next to the wife of one of the Seahawks players, who just showered him with attention.  He was in heaven!
A rare 100% cooperative picture of these two together.
Oh my heart..... these two💕
First day of school for the 2018-19 school year.
Ryan - 5th grade.  Last year in Elementary and he is the oldest of the entire Elementary.  He knows this and loves to flaunt it!
4th grade for Kathryn.  It's proven to be challenging already.  Transitions are not the easiest for this one.  The 4th grade teacher is outstanding and asks a lot of her students.  She is finding her groove, but we've shed a few tears getting there.
Oh the drama of a picture together!
This just makes me laugh 🤣

Korryn's Wedding

Probably should start this blog post with a picture of the bride..... but oh well... it's my blog.  🙂
The wedding started with all of us meeting on Wayne's boat.  It's a rather large 3 story thing.... with a considerable amount of room to move around.   Korryn got ready there, then we all took this little boat on a short ride across the harbor. to a small park, where they got married.  The dingy was 2 passengers per ride and Wayne driving

Father of the Bride & his #1 daughter/bride
 3 sisters 💕
The bride and groom.... married by Korryn's son.
It was a truly beautiful, relaxing wedding.
Got a little tearful seeing Korryn get married with her adult children there, especially with Michael officiating.
The only downside to the entire event, was the intense smoke in the air from local fires and fires in Canada.  Air quality was really bad.

Celebrating Kathryn

She asked for a poodle cake.
Her little heart thinks about our Joey a lot.  She misses her and has felt the loss deep down.
It's great to see her smile in this picture.
  9 years old already!  🎂
She also planned and schemed for a long time about dying a lock of her hair turquoise.
I am not sure why I relented, because it's definitely not something I would do.  She loved it and got so many compliments.
It was a beautiful green/blue color, but I don't think I got a picture of the finished project until later on in the month when it had faced a bit!
