Breakfast: Krispy Kreme chocolate covered filled donut - his fave. (and a surprise upon waking up)
Lunch: On the go snacking, we spent the day playing at a water park.
He got to pick dinner.
Dinner: Kraft Mac n Cheese with veggies mixed in (truly his request, I was so proud!)
Birthday dessert: his first ever hot fudge sundae. I think he's hooked.
He's been asking for LONG time for real drumsticks (he wasn't satisfied with the chop sticks we gave him)
and a drum. He got both and is one happy boy.
Cupcake was my indulgence!

Happy Birthday young man. These past 5 years have been full of fun, learning, growing, adjusting and a whole lot of good times. You are an exceptional boy, with a good sense of who you are. I have great confidence that you'll do very well as you start pre-school next year and think you'll love every minute of it. Watching you grow and absorb life is a delight for me. You teach me new things constantly and also keep me smiling with your wit and charm. I love you Ryan - I am one lucky Mom to get the chance to be a part of your life.

We love Ryan! I can't believe he is 5 - I remember holding him when he was like 7 pounds!! Glad he had a special day. He looks sooo much like Paul in the first picture. BTW, where is this fabulous water park in your pictures??
