Synopsis:
Ryan got his driver's license!
Kathryn was captain of the JV Volleyball team and played incredibly well.
School started Sept. 4th. Ryan is a junior, Kathryn is a sophomore. Both are doing great this school year.
Now on to pictures - that will complete the story for 2024
Ryan lived his best life 2024 Mariner's season. ⚾
Any chance he had to get to a game, he was there.
His collection of player autographs is impressive.
Ryan on the first day of school
Kathryn got ready for day #1 of school at a friends home
Kathryn and her kick ass overhand serve. 🏐
Many aces for her throughout the season
One lovely morning with friends prior to a swim
Ryan moving on from MLB to NFL. Also killing it with player autographs.
Love that Cooper caught his picture while on the big screen!
Kathryn's first boyfriend, Rylan.
She will roll her eyes when she see's this post someday down the road. But, while this relationship was short lived it was meaningful in many ways.
Her friends prior to Homecoming
My favorite picture of them together.
The relationship fizzled out a few weeks later, but that's ok. She learned a lot about herself and relationships within those few weeks.
The morning of my trip to Atlanta with Korryn and Wayne. 🛫
Surprised Kerri with my arrival.
It was a dream trip - quick, but so much fun
Kathryn and one of her long time friends, Sydney from Shoreline Christian School.
They're dressed up and off to a Zach Bryan concert. 🎵
Annual cookie baking again this year!
Cat fight! 🐾
Haha - they're playing, but it looks like Hilda got a good right hook punch to Hawkins
A swim field trip to Alki beach with other North Sound Swimmers. Kelsey lives close by and came by while out for a run. She surprised me by jumping in to join me for a quick dip. It's not easy to jump in the ocean in December without planning first. Love that girl.
🎄 Christmas morning 🎄
Last Seahawks home game for the season. 🏈
Disappointing finish for the team this year, but the game was fun with this crew
Thank you 2024
My parents remain in good health
My SCH job is steady & I'm very happy there (also about to increase work to 40 hrs per week, from 24 hrs while my colleague is on maternity leave!)
Grateful that I get to witness Ryan and Kathryn grow, thrive and learn to be mini adults (without the bills and bank / taxi of Mom open all the time) 🚕
