Fun, fun and wow that's tiring

Celebrated my 39th (yikes!!) birthday this past weekend with friends in Eastern Washington. A 3 year old, two 2.5 year olds and a 6 month old managed to wear me out! The three oldest are all boys and it's so much fun watching all three interact. Amazing how similar they can be, yet so different too. Being away from home is an adventure - it's a heck of a lot of work to prepare for and unpack from, but once there, sitting back and relaxing is easy. Paul and I are learning that we may not be able to make it work with our current vehicle, a Jeep Liberty. It was stuffed (and I mean stuffed) with 4 people, a poodle and all our paraphernalia! As the kids grow, there is no way we will be able to fit. I asked Paul if we dare consider a mini van (don't laugh Korryn, you probably knew it was in my future when I teased you about getting one!!) but we are not quite there yet. Plus, we want a 4 wheel drive and I don't think mini vans come equipped with that. Paul and our friends worked on getting me my favorite meal - good old hamburgers and french fries for my birthday dinner. Then cupcakes to finish the night off, and they were too good! As much as I was dreading 39 - it's been good so far. Pictures... in random order:
Paul & Joey coaching Ryan and Evan (only 3 weeks apart in age) on their sledding technique.
I love this photo. Joey had so much fun romping in the snow. Since she still makes me feel guilty for having two children and ruining her life as she knew it, a photo likes this makes me smile. Fear and Loathing in Eastern Washington? Ryan found those glasses in the deep recesses of the couch. He thought they were awesome!
Post cereal and carrots dinner.
Aaron reading some stories to Evan and Alec
I don't remember who gave us Kathryn's outfit in this photo, but it's super cute!
The boys
The girls
Nearly all the photo's that were taken were of the kids! Very few of the adults got represented, but that's alright, it's all about them anyway.
